Dr. Powell is the medical director of Powell's Pain Clinic of Orlando. He has been practicing medicine for 13 years. Dr. Powell is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine located in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City, Michigan. His residency was affiliated with Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. During residency, he was featured in an article titled "Day in the Life of Dr. Brian Powell" on November 29, 2007. Dr. Powell held a faculty clinical educator position with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine from 2011-2013. In addition to his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine degree, Dr. Powell earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health Care Management. Dr. Powell holds board certifications from the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians in Family Medicine and Pain Medicine. The scope of Dr. Powell's practice is pain management. Having earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Sports Medicine from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California in 1999, Dr. Powell has an interest in sports injuries.

I believe that every patient I see is unique. I believe that personalized approach is essential when treating all patients. As a caring and compassionate physician, I am dedicated to getting to know all my patients as human beings more than just their pain symptoms. I believe in the holistic/humanistic approach to medicine. I will do whatever I can to improve my patients' functionality and quality of life.
